yep, had a great trip. some drama-rama too. dunno if it's good or what. let's just say... eh... bad timing. wrong person? i dunno. anyways! you weren't even home when i called at 9pm today!
i'm back!
two weekends in a row out of town. i'm tired. but it's been good. the retreat was pretty good, the 4th and last that I will be planning. it's sort of bittersweet because i think we now have the hang of what to do and it's time to pass the torch. so ironic because i was always looking forward to this - giving away this responsibility, and now it's almost sad.
oregon was so mucho fun. i feel loved. :)
got the bonus check today and 30% went to taxes!!! :( soo sad. why oh why. so many taxes!! i need to do my own taxes so i can figure out the refund and stuff like that.
i'm excited to go to 99 ranch and make care packages for my friends who do not live by asian food. yeah! care packages!

i just found yet another cool job! a special events asst. for project angel food. that's like the both of us combined - non-profit + special events!
by the way, yesterday, i made a chocolate cake COMPLETELY from scratch. and it was SOOOOO good. i took pics but i still have to read my html book to learn how to put them on this page!
a new laptop...OOOO-EEE! I just sent you the disc in the mail today so you should get it in 2-3 days. HAVE FUN.

president's day. but it's been raining all weekend! NO FUN. i've been up late every night for the past three night for some reason and i'm TIRED. it's been a slow-ish weekend because the valentine's day date has been out of town. oh well...
on friday night, i went to yoga, then saturday night went out with friends to a club but it was WAY too expensive. valet was $20!! ACK. my friend erin and i lucked out getting in though. keep in mind it was pouring rain so they had put a tent in front of the entrance and there must've been 30 people huddled underneath. we went straight to the front of the line in hopes of getting in without waiting in line. two guys in front of us slipped the guy at the door some cash and he let them in. YIKES. then he let us in. YAY! but seriously. it seems that money talks. terrible! last night, i went down to long beach for my friend's company party on the queen mary. [remember your ice cream cone?] we were the youngest people there (he works for BP - the oil company) and they had a casino theme and a lady who drew those cartoons (like the ones that you and dad got done). after dinner the dj started and i danced with all of the ladies! then the boss left and the dj was allowed to play hip hop songs. FUN!!!!! and that was that. i was so hot and sweaty but fun times!

wow, a hot valentine for vday! i want more details! who is this guy? did you take pictures?! did he bring you flowers?!!
i had cheeese and treees (yep, from monrovia farmer's market - just the name!) but no potato. it was yummy!!! cheddar and broccoli. i also indulged with a big toll house cookie sandwich. i should never have brought that home because once i did, i ate it because there were no other desserts to eat at home! ahh!!
yup. a hot date for valentine's day - my first ever!
we went to dinner at border grill, a mexican place in santa monica. a prix fixe 3-course meal that included dessert! YUMMM.... then went to celebrate his friend's birthday down the street afterwards. and that was the end. (i wore my dress from macy's union square!!)

i don't know what's worse. sharing in front of pple at church (100+) or sharing in front of my 10 friends in small group on friday night. they're going on a ski trip this weekend so they won't be there sunday. but both are equally bad!!! i am going to die!! i already wrote out what i want to say but i do not want to read off a paper. i know my mind will go blank when i am standing up there.
